This time, the British supercar maker is in plans to offer a road-going variant of non other than its own GT3 racer. To compete with the others in the segment, McLaren’s attempt is to bring a limited edition on streets with just 20 units of the MP4-12C GT3 racer.

This might be a sort of experimentation with 20 units which the company would sell for $512,000/€345,000. As per the Inside Line, the Managing Director of McLaren, Antony Sheriff has said that the automaker won’t over-egg this model like Porsche does basically with all its variants of 911. However as per the report, one thing is clear that a road-going variant is now in pipeline and will soon hit its considered target. Tough about the power of this new variant is still undercover, but the company has recently announced MP4-12C GT3 racer’s specifications which say that the car will get 100 less horses as compared to what the standard model offers that is 500 PS/368 kW.
